Our Trip to Jumierah Vittaveli Maldives, Its a Paradise in Earth

"It is a Paradise in Earth" she said, she was sitting next to window and she got the most beautiful view of Maldives from our flight, who is she? Don't worry its my wife, ha ha ha. Even though she feel little bit air pressure after seeing the Paradise she forgot about everything. Maldives Airport is small so its very easy to do emigration and next to emigration you have the baggage belt. We took Air India from Trivandrum Airport as the ticket was cheap. It was a small flight, i think about 20 or 30 seats only. Its about an hour from Trivandrum to Male airport.

As soon as we reach the exit of the Male airport, we find our buttler who was waiting for us and directed us to VIP lounge. Jumierah has one of the most beautiful airport lounge with VIP amenities. Our buttler informed us that the speedboat is ready to take us to the resort. Just to give you an idea Maldives has lot of Islands, many of them are private owned, from the private owned many are belongs to hotels. Another important thing is that in between islands if you want to travel you have to choose a transport option depends on distance, if its very far you will need a doemstic flight or seaplane, if near speedboat will work. In our case hotel is about 30 minutes by speedboat and we are on the way now.

We got an amazing welcome by the Jumeirah Vittaveli team and they where using some traditional drums to welcome us. Special welcome drink was interesting. Our buttler already delivered our luggages to villa, by this time we check in and front office team took us in a electronic buggy car to show around the resort and island. When we reached our beautiful villa we find below items ready in our table so we are going out to beach now, cheers....

Below is the view of Male Airport from our speedboat. You can see another speedboat waiting for thier clients. By the way when i say speedboat don't compare it with the speedboats you have seen in Kochi and Kovalam. This one is perfectly a speedboat and jumping from one wave to another, our captian was super expert he give us life jacket and said sit in the front even though we like to sit at the back we have find a seat in the front itslef as instructed by our captain. When he say sit in front we didnt know the reason behind it, after 5 minutes we understand that the engine of speedboat is behind and the water is flying 3 or 4 times higher than the speedboat on running, sometimes little bit of water coming inside. By the way speedboat is non a/c.

While coming back, concierge give us a free upgrade to thier luxury Yacht, You cannot compare a speedboat with luxury yacht, this luxury yacht has many engines so its really powerful, AC, luxury interior and main important point is that even if it goes beside big ship we dont feel the waves and we dont feel the speed from inside. 

It is really an unforgettable experience in Maldives, it is a must visit destination in your life. Really another world in this world. Go and experince it, Cheers.
